From Heart to Hands: Why I Volunteer with Delivering Good

June 1, 2025 | At Delivering Good, we believe that the impact of our mission is best felt not just in words or numbers—but in moments. We recently caught up with Megan Berry, longtime volunteer and current Co-Chair of our Associate Council, who joined us for a Saturday distribution event with our partner, River Fund. Megan shares what motivated her to show up, what she saw firsthand, and why being there in person reinforced her commitment to Delivering Good’s mission. Her story is a reminder that when we show up for others, we often receive something just as powerful in return.
What made you say “yes” to spending your Saturday at the River Fund—and what was your favorite part of the day?
How did it feel to see firsthand how product donations from Delivering Good are used in a community setting like this?
What would you say to someone who’s thinking about getting more involved with Delivering Good—whether by donating, volunteering, or just learning more?

Megan’s experience captures what Delivering Good is all about: people helping people—with compassion, humility, and purpose. Whether it’s one morning or a lifelong commitment, every act of service helps move our mission forward. We’re deeply grateful to Megan and all of our Associate Council members for leading with heart and action.
Want to get involved? There’s a place for you here—volunteer, donate, or spread the word. Together, we can deliver more than goods—we can deliver hope.
