This month, we’re spotlighting Kristen Viniotis, Managing Director at Protiviti. We got the chance to talk to Kristen about how she approaches partnerships in her career, her involvement with DG, and her experience at a recent packing event hosted by Protiviti!

----------

You have a wealth of experience supporting and leading companies through significant financial changes and optimization projects. How have these experiences influenced the way you approach partnerships and impactful, results-driven work?

I’ve had the privilege of helping boards and leadership teams translate ambitious goals into tangible actionWhether it’s a company that’s navigating growth, transformation, or uncertainty, I've seen firsthand that success isn't driven by strategy alone, it's driven by peopleThe greatest results come from people who build trust, foster collaboration, and create alignment around a clear vision for the future.

I’ve also spent a significant part of my career working with companies that are focused on improving performance and building for the futureWhile metrics and performance indicators are important, I’ve found that the strongest and most sustainable results happen when people understand the purpose behind the work and feel personally connected to the outcome.  That perspective has truly shaped the way I approach partnerships todayFor me, the most successful partnerships start with listening, bringing together different viewpoints, building trust, and creating a shared sense of ownership around what we’re trying to achieve.

What initially inspired you to get involved with DG's mission, and what excites you about the future of that partnership?

What drew me to Delivering Good was how naturally their mission connects with both my professional background and the things I care about personally. Throughout my career, I've worked closely with consumer products and retail companies, which has given me a deep appreciation for the impact products can have and the importance of using resources responsiblyGiving back has also always been important to me, so I've always been interested in finding ways to combine my professional experience with meaningful community involvement.  What I love about Delivering Good is that they bring those worlds together, helping companies put products to good use, reducing waste, and making a real difference for individuals and families who need support.

As I’ve gotten more involved with Delivering Good and seen the impact of their work firsthand, what stands out most to me is their ability to bring people together around a shared purposeThey create valuable connections between companies, communities, and individuals in a way that drives real impactI’m excited to continue building our partnership, finding new ways to engage others in the mission, and helping expand the reach of the incredible work DG is doingFor me, it’s really rewarding to be part of something that makes a tangible difference and creates lasting positive change.

You recently hosted a packing event at Protiviti, where together with Delivering Good, volunteers packed hygiene kits full of essential items like soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and more. Can you tell us a bit about what that experience was like?

The packing event was such a fun experienceWe brought together colleagues from Protiviti and our clients to assemble hygiene kits filled with everyday essentials, and it was inspiring to see how quickly everyone embraced the opportunity to give backFrom the moment we started, there was a real sense of energy, teamwork, and commitment to making a difference.

What stood out to me most was seeing my colleagues and clients connect in a different wayWe spend so much of our time together focused on business objectives, so it was great to step outside of our day-to-day work and work alongside one another to support people in needThere was a real sense of pride in writing personal notes to include in the hygiene kits, knowing that such a simple gesture could make a positive impact on someone’s life.

The response from everyone involved was incredible, many participants immediately asked how they could get involved again or support DG in other ways.  That enthusiasm spoke volumes to the impact of the experience and the way Delivering Good inspires people to take action.

I left feeling proud of what we accomplished, grateful for the partnership, and even more inspired by DG’s ability to bring people together to truly deliver goodExperiences like this reinforce why I’m passionate about creating opportunities for people to get involved and see firsthand the difference Delivering Good is making in communities every day.
