Global Head of Consumer & Retail Investment Banking | Santander

Brian Anton is the Global Head of Consumer & Retail Investment Banking at 
Santander, based in New York. He is responsible for originating, advising on, 
and executing equity, debt and M&A transactions across the sector. Brian has 
executed more than 150 transactions and raised more than $100 billion in debt 
and equity securities for key clients in the past 20+ years.
Brian joined Santander in 2024. Previously, he was the Global Head of Retail 
Investment Banking at Citi and before that spent 10 years at Credit Suisse 
helping to build the Retail & Consumer Group. 

Brian earned his MBA as a Danforth Scholar from Washington University in St. 
Louis in 2005 and prior to attending Wash U, Brian worked as a CPA for 
PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, MA for four years. Brian received his B.A. in 
Political Science with concentrations in Economics and French from Bates 
College in 1999.
