About Delivering Good

Since 1985, Delivering Good has helped people facing hardship and disaster move forward by working with our partners to match them with new, essential items and services that support dignity, renew hope, and open doors to opportunity. In our 40-year history, we have delivered more than $3B in new merchandise to communities, including $182M in product and over 10M units in 2025 alone.

Working with retailers, manufacturers, foundations, and individuals, we ensure unused, excess products reach people impacted by poverty and tragedy through a network of community partners. We've seen new shoes be the catalyst for landing a job and backpacks become a source of pride that helps a child look forward to the school year—small comforts that bring dignity and self-esteem to at-risk children, families, and individuals.

Title: The Senior Development Manager, Individual Giving + Donor Engagement

Job Purpose: The Senior Development Manager, Individual Giving plays a key role in advancing Delivering Good's long-term fundraising strategy. • Develop and execute outreach plans for targeted donor segments and establish processes that use data and analytics to inform strategy, manage donor segmentation and pipeline, measure performance against revenue goals, and optimize campaigns.

  • Grow the organization's base of individual supporters by identifying and cultivating new donors while improving retention and upgrade rates among existing donors.

  • Support and expand key donor programs—including monthly giving and disaster campaign donors—and develop meaningful stewardship touchpoints (acknowledgments, impact updates, engagement) that ensure a best-in-class donor experience, connect donors to mission outcomes, and increase lifetime value.

  • Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to produce compelling, donor-facing materials, campaigns, and impact communications that support individual giving strategies.

  • Oversee the effective use of the CRM for individual giving, including accurate gift entry, donor records, reporting, and list management.

  • Partner on and support fundraising and cultivation events by identifying, inviting, and stewarding individual donors and prospects.

  • Design, manage, and implement a planned giving program.

  • Contribute to organizational fundraising strategies and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving, annual giving, major gifts, or an equivalent/similar combination.

  • Proven track record of success cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors and growing multi-channel giving programs, with the ability to innovate and manage toward ambitious goals.

  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using donor data and analytics to inform decision-making.

  • Compelling and inspirational communicator.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with people from a wide diversity of backgrounds.
